JONES BEACH SHOWS
We'll be playing a couple of exclusive acoustic sets at the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater this summer. On Saturday August 2, we're performing at the O.A.R. and Ozomatli show; after that, we'll be back on Wednesday August 6 for the Stone Temple Pilots and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club show. Both sets will take place on the WaMu Live! Stage inside the venue, beginning as soon as the gates are opened. Tickets to both events are still available, but they're likely to sell out, so don't wait to get yours.
ARTSCAPE 2008
On Saturday July 19, The GoStation returns to Baltimore to perform at Artscape, America's largest free public arts festival. The full event takes place from July 18-20 in midtown Baltimore, and features a huge array of visual and performing artists, with musical acts ranging from Joan Jett to Diplo to the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. For more information, check out the festival website. All Artscape events are free and open to the public.

If you're on the site yourself, please visit our new GoStation Facebook page and leave us a comment, add yourself as a fan, listen to some tunes, and engage in other all-around merriment. Let us know what you think, and if there's anything you'd like to see up there that you don't see already, drop us a line!
XFM UPLOADED

"Music: Response" is on from 7-10pm GMT.
OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE
Thanks to Zazzle.com, we've finally got our official merch store up and running. T-shirts, stickers, keychains, mugs — we've got it all! Better yet, because Zazzle offers customized merchandise, you don't even have to buy the exact items we created. You can take the different band logos and put them on whatever kind of apparel you want. There are hundreds of choices, so the possibilities are pretty limitless. You can even preview your design onscreen on a variety of models, to get an idea of how it will actually look. To check it out, click on the widget on our MySpace page, or go straight to our shop.
WINTER TOUR
We're kicking off 2008 by hitting the road! Beginning Jan. 8th, we'll be playing in Chicago, Cincinnati, Baltimore, Fairfax, and Arlington, with more dates to come soon. Check our tour page for full details, and keep an eye out for more East Coast shows, as well as a trek towards Texas for this year's SXSW festival. We're looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones on our travels, so GoStation fans far and wide: come out, come out, wherever you are!
OURSTAGE STARS
A new video interview with the band is up now on OurStage.com. The clip was recorded at our 2007 CMJ Showcase at Crash Mansion in New York City. It combines a conversation with the whole band, live footage from our show, and clips of our video for "All Together Now." Watch it here. We think you'll agree it's pretty awesome. OurStage is one of our favorite sites (and huge supporters of the band). It's a great place to discover indie artists and filmmakers, and the fans decide who gets to the top. Viva democracy!
GETTING HIS KIT ON
We'd like to officially welcome Vin Russoniello to the band as our new drummer. Vin hit the ground running during CMJ, when he played his first show at our official showcase. Now, with the arrival of the New Year, we're making his addition to The GoStation official, too. Vin is taking over for Justin Aaronson, who put in two great years with the band, before deciding to focus on other pursuits. We're sad to see Justin go, but happy to have Vin on board. That's what they call bittersweet.
DEBUT ALBUM OUT NOW!
It's been a big build-up, but the moment has finally come: our debut full-length, Passion Before Function, is officially out in the US. You can order the album on CD through Amazon, CDBaby, or directly from our website. Digitally, you can find it in our MyStore and on iTunes, as well as through a number of other online retailers. The album will also be available in all US Virgin Megastores in the coming weeks, with even wider distribution in the works.
VIRGIN IN-STORE
With less than a week to go before the release of our debut album, The GoStation will be playing a special in-store set at the Virgin Megastore in Union Square on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 8:30pm. This is a free, all-ages event. It's followed by the official album-release party on Saturday, Sept. 22 at The Annex in NYC. Advance copies of Passion Before Function will be available for purchase at both shows.
BACK TO SCHOOL BLOWOUT
We're performing a brief set in Union Square Park on Sunday, Sept. 16, as part of Time Out New York's Back to School Blowout. The fun runs from noon to 4pm in the park's South Plaza, with a Virgin Megastore sponsored stage featuring seven bands. Our set will be at 2:15pm, and we'll be playing a handful of songs from our brand new album, due out Sept. 25. This is a free event, and no student ID is required to attend.
ALBUM PRE-ORDER
Our debut album, Passion Before Function, is now available for pre-order. You can get it through Amazon.com, or by ordering directly through our website. As a special bonus, anyone who orders the album through our site will also receive a free MP3 of our version of New Order's "True Faith," otherwise only available as a bonus track on the Japanese version of the album. Meanwhile, NYC fans should mark their calendars for Sept. 22, when we'll be celebrating the album release with a hometown show at the Annex. And watch out for fall tour dates soon!
ALL TOGETHER NOW VIDEO
The brand-new video for the first single off our debut album is now online! You can check it out on MySpace, as well as YouTube, Haystack, Brightcove, and other quality online video destinations... Or you can download a high-quality version straight to your computer! If this gets you as excited about the album as we are, wait no more: you can pre-order the US release now directly through our website. All advance orders will receive their copy of the album on or before the official release date of Sept. 25th.
A REAL SHOW OF SUPPORT
A major thank you goes out to everyone who came out to the benefit show at the Luna Lounge on June 30th. Thanks to your support and generosity, we were able to raise over $4,000 for the Drew Goren Memorial Fund. Jonny Leather, who designed the poster/flier for the event, has posted a gallery up of our performance, plus photos of all the other amazing artists who played. We'll have more pictures and video from the show available soon, but in the meantime, if you were unable to make it out, or if you just want to learn more about Drew's life, please visit inmemoryofdrewogoren.com. There's a link on the page where you can donate directly to the fund in any amount you like — and they've even posted some amateur video of us performing our cover of New Order's "True Faith."
ALBUM RELEASE DATES
It's been over a year in the making, so we are extremely pleased to announce the release of our debut album! Entitled Passion Before Function, the ten-track disc was recorded at Headgear Studios in Brooklyn, NY with producer Bill Racine. The album will initially be released in Japan by Fabtone Records on July 18th, with the US release to follow on September 25th. The first single, "All Together Now," is already available for download on iTunes, in addition to streaming on our MySpace page. The Japanese release can be pre-ordered at online outlets including amazon.com, while pre-orders for the US version will be available right here later this month.
DREW GOREN MEMORIAL BENEFIT
On June 30th, musicians from all over New York City will share the stage to commemorate the life of Drew Goren, a gifted photographer, friend, and father who tragically lost his life to cancer late last year. The lineup for the night inlcudes country-folk troubadour Langhorne Slim, local supergroup Neckbeard Telecaster (featuring members of Dirty on Purpose, the Jealous Girlfriends, and others), The GoStation, Sikamor Rooney, The Wooden Hills, and The Shrubs. All proceeds raised from this evening will be donated directly to the Drew Goren Memorial Fund, established to help Drew's young daughter, Nina. Advance tickets are available at ticketweb.com.
